Directors:Singular solutions to (super)gravity equations and their properties are essential part of the modern approaches to fundamental physics, cosmology, higher energy physics and (soft) condensed matter. The School/Workshop on Theoretical Frontiers in Black Holes and Cosmology aims to foster this fascinating topic and its applications among young researchers and students from different parts of the world.
The Workshop will offer an excellent opportunity for young physicists to integrate in the community of black hole physics and of cosmology. The School, preceding the Workshop, will provide a basis for young researchers and students to follow and actively participate on the advanced level of the presentations and discussions at the Workshop. This event will provide a stimulating atmosphere appropriate for an intensive exchange of ideas among the researchers.
The School/Workshop will be mainly dedicated to the following topics:
*Black holes/branes properties and solutions;
*Attractors and cosmology;
*Black holes and quantum information;
*Fake supergravity and holographic RG flow.
School/Workshop fees:
Students = US$140,00 / €110,00 / R$300,00
Post-Docs and Professionals = US$240,00 / €180,00 / R$500,00
Registration Fee: All the participants are expected to pay the registration fee. Members of the local community (institutions in Natal) are considered as free listeners and are exempt from paying the fee.
*Registration fee is only accepted in cash during the first three days of the event.
Accommodation and transportation to be determined for those who qualify for financial help. You may apply for financial support on your online registration form.
