Speaker:In this talk, I discuss the relationship between thermal expansion, entropy and the Seebeck coefficient in correlated systems, focused on the Hubbard model: these thermodynamic quantities have anomalies for a range of electronic interactions. I also analyze how extensions to the model, such as first neighbor interactions and the ionic model, affect these properties. Furthermore, I discuss the behavior of the specific heat in the same parameter regimes, which also led to an anomalous behavior. Finally, I connect all of these analyses with the momentum distribution, which can be measured by cold atoms experiments.
